Creative art sessions at Bloom Building

LoC is all about giving young people aged 11 - 19 from Wirral and the LCR an opportunity to engage in creative workshops in a diverse range of exciting practices, to feel inspired and to connect with others.

Making Memories - Badge, slide, and poster creation with Parice Bowyer.

Join us and be a part of Parice's project surrounding memories through techniques such as badge and slide making, and creating your own poster.

Button badges - participants will draw designs which we will then turn into button badges with a button punch press. Like all aspects of this session, these can be donated to Parice's project or participants can choose to keep them.

Slides - participants can either draw designs on a larger scale, which will then be scanned, scaled down and print onto acetate to create 35mm slides. Participants can also work on a smaller scale, drawing/collaging onto acetate/blank negatives to produce slides which will be complete by the end of the session.

Posters - participants can draw poster designs (based on examples I will provide from myself and other artists), using markers and coloured paper.
