SEND improvement in Wirral: Local Area Self-Evaluation Statements

A set of different coloured speech bubbles that each have a different statement inside.

The self-evaluation statements coproduced by Parent Carer Participation Wirral and the Local Area SEND Partnership

We wanted to share with you a set of statements that Parent Carer Participation Wirral (PCPW) coproduced with the Local Area SEND Partnership.

The statements, which were also shared with inspectors during the recent Area SEND Inspection, give a clear summary of how far the partnership has come since it was formed and what still needs to improve. You can download the statements as a document below.

These statements are based on a self-evaluation carried out by the local area. This document gives a detailed description of what the partnership has done so far to drive change in SEND services. It also shows where it is up to at the moment and the plans that are being put in place to further improve these vital services for families, young people and children on Wirral. You can find the self-evaluation document on SENDLO here: Local Area Self-Evaluation January 2025

There is a lot of work going on across the partnership to make SEND services better and we are looking forward to bringing you regular updates in our monthly SEND Snapshot. Sign up on SENDLO to get the news straight into your inbox!
