Meet The Graduates

Coming to a school near you!

Wirral Council has put together a team of ‘Graduates’ who are taking on the role of inclusion specialists.

The Graduates will be working with settings to help support them embed the Graduated Approach across Wirral schools. This will help make sure that children and young people with SEND have the right support in place to help them thrive and make progress.

Specialist training provider Inclusive Solutions have been working with our team of Graduates. The final planning sessions took place in January. Together, they developed strategies and a 'tool box' to take into settings with them.

The strategies and support from each Graduate will be individual to each setting. The Graduates will work with schools to map their inclusion journeys. Our Graduates come from all walks of life. They include leaders and practitioners from schools and the local authority. They each have their own unique skill set and will be matched with a setting that suits their skills.
