Great minds think differently

It’s Neurodiversity Celebration Week this week. We want to celebrate the special strengths and views of our neurodiverse children and young people in Wirral.

People often focus on what neurodivergent children and young people can’t do. But we want to shine a spotlight on what they can do instead! Many neurodivergent people are inventors. They are creative. Some can be super focused. They have ideas that other people would struggle to come up with. The list is long!

We’ve picked out a few of our favourite quotes about celebrating autism. We hope you enjoy them!

Autism is not a disability, it’s a different ability.
