Wirral SEND Partnership Self-Evaluation Parent/Carer Feedback Event - Monday 16th September, 12.30pm-2.30pm

On Monday 16th September, Wirral Council will be hosting a feedback session for parents & carers to reflect on our 2024 SEND Partnership Self-Evaluation.

Across the Spring and Summer, we have been carrying out a self-evaluation of the Wirral SEND Partnership to better understand the effectiveness and impact of our services on children and young people with SEND, improve our awareness of the barriers in the system and inform the SEND service's key strategic priorities for the coming years. 

As we approach the final stages of the self-evaluation process, we are hoping to test our findings with parents and carers in Wirral, following two summer workshops with the SEND Youth Voice Group. This will help us to capture and incorporate parent/carer voice in the self-evaluation, ensure that it is representative of what parents & carers feel about the system and truly reflects the lived experience of families with SEND in Wirral.
