Support from The Positivitree
Just a quick note to let you know that The Positivitree can now refer families for emergency essential support from Family Fund/Children in Need.
The fund covers things like white goods, (such as fridge, freezers, washing machines) beds/bedding etc.
The family must have children with additional needs in the household in order for us to support them.
If you have any families you think need this support please send their contact details to us directly and we will take it from there.
SENDLO visit Quilt Stitch Social
Teaching sewing to young adults with learning disabilities is a rewarding and inclusive experience.
Through patient instruction and adaptability, the volunteers empower members to develop valuable life skills and boost their self-esteem.
As they learn to thread needles, stitch fabrics, and create their own projects, they gain a sense of accomplishment and independence, the nurturing environment not only equips them with practical skills but also promotes social interaction and a sense of belonging within the supportive sewing community.
